DAY 01: HANOI – PHU QUOC                                                                                           (L, D)

In the morning, Hanoi Tourism’s car will meet you at your hotel. Then we will transfer to Noibai International Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat International Airport, we will catch another flight to Phu Quoc. You will be picked up at Phu Quoc Airport, following by hotel check-in registration and lunch.

At 2.00 pm, we will have a chance to exploce the eastern part of Phu Quoc Island, including:

  • Several households who are specialized in producing Sim wine for tourists. This kind of wine is made from ripen myrtaceous fruits (Sim fruits) which can be found nowhere else in Cuu Long River Delta region except in Phu Quoc. Sim wine possesses a special flavor which can be compared to any kinds of imported wines.
  • Su Muon Pagoda, also known as Hung Long Tu Pagoda: It is located in a tranquil and peaceful setting, built on a rocky outcrop on Duong Dong mountain, the grounds contain an ornate statue of Buddha, sitting under the Buddhist tree, next to the stair leading to the main building of the pagoda.
  • Suoi Tranh Waterfall, the collection of small waterfalls and rock-pools and one larger fall. This is not the biggest or the most dramatic of its kind, but it does have its own charms.
  • Ham Ninh fishing village, nestled at the foot of Mount Ham Ninh, east of Phu Quoc Island. This is an old and wild village, with thatched roof, bamboo walls and rustic houses. Villagers there live mainly on catching pearls, sea cucumbers and fishing.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, following by free activities such as relaxation on the islands or squid fishing. Overnight stay in Phu Quoc.

DAY 02: PHU QUOC                                                                                                      (B, L, D)

  • Khai Hoan/Thinh Phat fish sauce factory: a very popular name and product in Phu Quoc Island, with the long-standing formula of fish fermenting process.
  • The vast green pepper farms which are developing into eco-tourism sites. Visiting the farms, tourists can enjoy a quiet green space and witness the way farmers take care of their pepper trees.
  • Duong Dong Market, the largest market on the island. The most abundant items of this market are fresh seafood and dried seafood that have been caught by fishing boats and to the market directly.
  • Dinh Cau Rock (Cau Temple) – considered the symbol of Phu Quoc where sand, sea, sun, and stone blend in perfect harmony. It is a combination of Buddhist temple and lighthouse that was built in 1937 as a dedication to Thien Hau (the Goddess of the sea) who provides protection for the fisherman and vessels that head out to the open waters.
