(Overview)

This amazing overland trip will take you on an unforgettable journey through a country that's as distinct and enchanting as the people who inhabit it. Our adventure begins in the capital of Hanoi, in northern Vietnam. Discover this graceful old city on foot before setting out to cruise amongst the towering limestone karsts of awe-inspiring Halong Bay, the World Natural Heritage site. We then take a short excursion to Mai Chau, the heart of a beautiful valley that is a world away from the hustle of Hanoi; and Tam Coc, "the Ha Long Bay on Land". An overnight train journey delivers us to a city that's steeped in history and culture, the former imperial capital, Hue. A short drive south, over spectacular Hai Van Pass, takes us to the ancient port town of Hoi An in central Vietnam. We then catch a flight to Nha Trang where we cruise the offshore islands, before heading south. We arrive at the steamy and vibrant city of Saigon. From here we explore the agriculturally rich Mekong Delta and the one-time guerrilla stronghold of Cu Chi tunnels.

Day 1: ARRIVAL HANOI (D)

Arriving at Noi Bai International airport in Hanoi, you'll be met and driven to your hotel. In the evening, you’ll be picked up to Thang Long theatre to watch the Water Puppet show an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture.

Day 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll be picked up to start a Hanoi city tour. You’ll visit Ba Dinh Square, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature.


Ethnology Museum	36 streets	Dong Xuan Market

After lunch at local restaurant, driver and guide will take you to visit the Ethnology Museum for an overview of Vietnam’s 54 distinct ethnic. Pass by Hoan Kiem Lake, walking tour visit Ancient Quarter of 36 streets District, Dong Xuan Market.

Day 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

Hanoi Tourism's car and guide will pick you up at the hotel depart to Ha Long city - the capital of Quang Ninh province. We stop half way for a short break in Hai Duong province. Arrive in Ha Long city. Have lunch on the boat where you will be satisfied by many kinds of seafood.

After lunch, the guide takes you to visit the two most beautiful caves – Sung Sot Grotto and Titop Island. After that, we will do kayaking on the Bay. At about 4.00 pm the boat goes back to Ha Long city. Check in hotel.

Day 4: HALONG BAY – HA NOI (B/L/D)

After breakfast, guide and bus will pick you up at hotel, transfer to Hanoi. Free time to discover Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: HANOI - NHA TRANG BEACH (B/L/D)

Nha Trang We will have breakfast at hotel.

Transfer to the Noi Bai International airport for the morning flight to Nha Trang.

Transfer to the hotel. Leisure at the beach

Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: NHA TRANG BEACH - PHAN THIET BEACH (B/L/D)

Departure for Phan Thiet by car and across shrimp breeding fields, arrive in Phan Thiet and then leisure. Phan Thiet is well-known for its white sand beaches with many mountains and forests.

Day 7: PHAN THIET BEACH – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L/D)

Day 8: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L/D)

the underground village Enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Cu Chi district, and Tay Ninh Province.

Experience ourselves the underground village of Cu Chi guerrilla fighters, which is simply a network of tunnels built during the long years of wars.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)

Drive to Vinh Long, a city famous by the Mekong River and floating market. You’ll cruise to visit Cai Be floating market, fruit orchards, a traditional family-run brick kiln. You'll have a lunch at one of the local family and have a shot show of traditional music in Mekong Delta which is operated by the local people. You'll have time to wonder around the fruit market to buy some kind of famous tropical fruit such as banana, dragon fruit, and mangos tin and so on. You’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Overnight in Saigon

Day 10: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE (B)

Your time will be your own until the car and driver takes you to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
