The World Culture and Cuisine Festival 2010 will take place in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau from May 21-25.
According to organisers, 50 countries have so far registered to participate in the large festival that features not only the cuisine but also the culture of those countries.

The festival, featuring five themes including gastronomy, culture, festivals, shopping and relaxation, will give visitors opportunities to enjoy traditional foods and drinks, get to know different cultures, buy specific products from participating nations, and join a colourful street festival combining identities of 80 cultures.
The festival will also include a gastronomy-themed seminar, cooking techniques performances by local and world famous cooks such as Jan Cancook, according to the organisers
The festival is expected to set a world Guiness record for being held on the longest site stretching up to 3km along the coast.
